This night is an homage to the delicious food I have had the pleasure of eating many times in Little Havana, Miami and surrounding areas while spending many days and nights in southern Florida.
We are cooking up our delicious ‘Que-Bano,’ much like the traditional Cuban Sandwich, but with our added smoky twist, of course, not to mention the unique kick of our house pickles.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of Cuban food without thinking of those delicious pockets of meat, the empanada. I am excited to roll out (no pun intended) our empanada-inspired: Dude’s Pocket. The “pocket” is a bowling reference, plus you can kinda say it like Jim Gaffigan ‘Duuuude’s Paw-kit.’
We are gonna stuff these with all sorts of goodies.
The night’s flavors will be:
Brisket, Jalapeno, Mexican Cheese Blend, Texas BBQ
Pastrami, Sauerkraut, Swiss, Thousand Island
Mac n’ Cheese, Brisket, Jalapeno, BBQ Aioli
VEGGIE!!!! (Still playing with this one, details to follow)
